Abstract

Data fusion enables the integration of multiple sensor data associated with the same physical process for more comprehensive process representation, thereby improving accuracy in measuring critical parameters (CPs) of safety-critical systems (SCSs). In this article, we adopt the multisensor data fusion (MSDF) method to measure the CPs of SCS. The method divides the problem into three levels: data fusion level, feature level, and decision level. The proposed approach is applied on a case study of nuclear power plant (NPP). The result proves the effectiveness of measurement accuracy using MSDF.
