Abstract
This paper investigates the structural, morphological, magnetic, and microwave absorption properties of screen-printed Ba1−xLaxFe12O19 (x = 0.0, 0.1, 0.15, 0.20) thick films. Single phase P63/mmc was confirmed by X-ray diffraction patterns in fabricated thick films. SEM revealed dense packed microstructure with an average grain size of 2–3 μm for all films. La-substituted films showed increase in magnetization, coercivity, magnetocrystalline anisotropy with enhancement in perpendicular anisotropy. Overall microwave absorbance was increased for La-substituted BaM in Ku-band.
