Abstract

An instrument for the determination of mercury at nanogram levels is described. With aeration, collection on gold wool and a mercury radiofrequency electrodeless discharge lamp, high sensitivity is obtained with a detection limit of 0.01 ng. The system is used for analysis of sea water.
