Abstract

Abstract Fused CT with 35-times image averaging reduced standard deviation using a 320-detector row CT scanner. The noise power spectrum of fused CT was lower than that of routine CT in the low spatial frequency region. The modulation transfer function of fused CT was higher than that of routine CT in all spatial frequency region. Fused CT delineated the tube wall and hypostasis in the lumen simulating the coronary artery; routine CT did not.
