Abstract An inexpensive modification for off-road vehicles provides a simple technique for deploying dissolved oxygen meter probes without leaving the vehicle or opening the window. The equipment, specifically developed and tested for nighttime dissolved oxygen monitoring at commercial catfish farms, increases efficiency in collecting large numbers of dissolved oxygen samples at aquaculture facilities or fish hatcheries where dikes enable vehicular access.
