Abstract
An X-ray phosphor screen is a standard component at beamlines of Taiwan Photon Source (TPS). It responds to x-rays, re-emitting the energy as visible light. This screen is used as a tool for the coarse alignment of the synchrotron beam. The development of TPS beamlines proceeds to Phase III. Based on the user feedback of Phases I and II, we redesigned the x-ray phosphor screen and utilized it as a fourth screen at beamline TPS 19A. It has a greater ratio of signal to noise than the existing screens and was successfully commissioned in 2021. We plan to introduce it at TPS phase-III beamlines.
