Abstract

This article improves the coordinated passivation control strategy of a single machine infinite bus system with generator excitation and thyristor controlled series compensation. First, in the traditional coordinated passivation control strategy, class − κ functions and an integral term are introduced to improve the convergence speed and reduce the steady-state error of the system. Furthermore, an adaptive control method based on sliding mode is used to design adaptive laws for uncertain parameters and external disturbances and simplify the controller form. Finally, the simulation results show that compared with the traditional coordinated passivation method, the proposed controller has stronger robust adaptability and improves the convergence rate and transient performance of the system.
