Abstract

The Ninth Five-Year Plan held great importance for the development of the secondary school. Significant changes were made in school curricula, and teaching methods became more varied and effective. Many changes were also made in the teaching of mathematics. The changeover to the new curriculum for the eight-year school was completed in the 1975/76 school year. In the near future, all upper-graders will be studying under the new curriculum and with the new textbooks.
