Abstract
Purpose: While promising results using immediate adiuvant radiotherapy (ADV RT) after pelvic lymphadenecvtomy (PL) and radical prostatectomy (RP) for high-risk, node-negative adenocarcinoma of the prostate (CaP) have been reported, there is no data regarding the optimal timing of RT. Furthermore, as several studies of immediate antiandrogen therapy (AT) in conjunction with radical RT have reported a delay in disease progression, we decided to evaluate whether early adjuvant AT in conjunction with adjuvant RT provided the same benefits in patients postoperatively irradiated.
