Abstract

The September issue of the American Journal of Psychiatry featured articles which look at how to improve clinical outcomes across psychiatric disorders, especially in the presence of medical comorbidities. In one article, authors look at relapse of anorexia nervosa, and how to focus on longer‐term systemic interventions. Another article looked at how to account for psychiatric comorbidities when treating patients with attention‐deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) with stimulants. An editorial by Ned H. Kalin sums up two of the articles in the journal. (Other articles relate to substance use disorder, cardiology, and other psychiatry‐related topics.)
