Abstract
In veterinary medicine, there are numerous studies that report therapeutic and toxic effects during the association of certain drugs, both pre-anesthetic and during general anesthesia. Also, how they can vary according to the species, breed, sex., age and physiological conditions of the animal. The objective of this work is to bring forth the main drugs used in anesthesia, the importance of understanding them and their possible side effects.
