Abstract

Implications of the so-called H-particle in high density hadronic matter are considered, under the assumption that this flavor singlet spinless dihyperon state is spatially compact and its energy is not far from the AA threshold. The color magnetic term of the one-gluon-exchange interaction provid ing attraction in the H-particle state leads to a hard-core like repulsion between the H-particles. Possible appearance of a new phase, H-matter, as a neutral spinless boson superfiuid in high density hadronic matter is pointed out and its relevance to problems of the strange quark matter and neutron stars is briefly discussed.
