Abstract

In late December, 2019, the first case of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), was reported in Wuhan, China.1 According to WHO situation report 99, there have been more than 2·95 million confirmed cases of COVID-19 globally, with more than 202 000 deaths as of April 28, 2020.2
