Abstract

Background: Minimally invasive approaches to liver resection are associated with favorable outcomes, including decreased blood loss, lower perioperative morbidity, and shorter hospitalization. In this study, we explored the circumstances and implications of conversion from a minimally invasive approach to open liver resection.
