Foreword This contribution details the creation and implementation of a Virtual Language Centre (VLC) at the University of Bordeaux’s Departement Langues, Lettres & Communication. The VLC provided social media content for educational purposes and was intended as a pedagogical response to the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown of French universities.
