Abstract

Background: Robotic pancreaticoduodenectomy (RPD) is a technically demanding procedure. Unique training strategies are necessary for the practicing surgeon to gain proficiency in complex robotic operations. We describe the results of the implementation of an RPD program using a comprehensive curriculum at a community tertiary care hospital.
