Abstract

Introduction: Neurodevelopmental care is an important part of the overall management for pre-term and at-risk babies within the critical care setting. While this model of care is well recognised in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU), it is not always maintained in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting. Integration of developmental rounds in PICU was seen as a way to promote ongoing neurodevelopmental care beyond the NICU.
