Implementing international medical education standards and constructing a student-based model of training qualified students

Abstract

International medical education standards advocate students-based learning and the establishment of a student-based model of training qualified students is considered as the orientation, ways and means of medical educational reform. Adhering to international education standards, Tongji Medical College (TMC) of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) has framed and implemented a series of reforms(TMC Medical Education Action Program) and has established an effective student-based model of training qualified students.
