Abstract

Sales Information System is a system that provides all information for supporting Sales activity. Sales Information System is very important for running the business. As a small enterprise, SME Abo Farm already has the information system for their Sales activity. However, it is only a simple system using low technology. This condition can be a barrier for SME Abo Farm in developing their business. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is seen as one of the alternative choices in the technological area, as well as to improve the business process. ERP is one of the most popular software in managing the company even for small medium enterprises. Using qualitative approach with conducting interviews and surveys, this research will solve the problem of Sales information system for SME named Abo Farm in Bandung Regency Indonesia. This research is also supported by secondary data and previous researches as materials and considerations of the results. After reviewing several kinds of ERP for SMEs and analyzing existing business processes, this research obtains a new system of Sales information for SME Abo Farm. This system will be implemented by using ERP Dokuku. The outputs of this research are business process proposal of the system, the procedure for using ERP Dokuku as Sales Information System of Abo Farm, and implementation of ERP Dokuku itself.
