Abstract
The article is focused on analysis of the implementation of the participatory budgeting in Trnava, which was introduced in 2016. Through participatory budgeting, citizens have the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of government operations. The aim of the article is to evaluate the processes of implementation of participatory budgeting in the city of Trnava by means of analysis. The article evaluates the first three seasons of participatory budgeting in Trnava. The article defines the problems of participatory budgeting in Trnava, which are lower public interest and unspecified conditions for the management of public finances.
