Abstract

Three-phase voltage-source inverters (VSI) have been widely applied for distributed generation (DG) systems. In this paper, a three-phase grid-connected inverter has been implemented using DSP-TMS320LF2407A microprocessor. The current controller strategy, namely hysteresis current control, has been employed as an inverter control strategy. Energy from small and medium scale wind turbines, fuel cells and solar cells can be absolutely injected to the grid by means of this inverter. The results of experimental tests confirm that the quality of injected power is in accordance with IEEE standard (THD<;5%). Considering features of utilized switches, driver boards, interface board and protection system, the implemented set is capable of injecting 30 kW power to the grid.
