Abstract

Subject. The article is devoted to the conservation of natural resources within the framework of the national project "Ecology", and considers the need to assess the project results achieved over four years. Objectives. The aims are to establish and summarize the goals of federal projects of the national project "Ecology", systematize actual indicators of implementation in the context of federal projects included in the national project, compare the achieved actual targets with design values, and assess the level of achieved goals and financial support to the project. Methods. The study employs methods of generalization of official information of Rosstat, the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation, other ministries and departments involved in the implementation of the national project "Ecology", assessment of development dynamics, comparative analysis. Results. For each federal project, I presented established goals, a summary table of actually achieved indicators in 2019–­2022, analyzed the dynamics of actual targets for this period, determined the degree of actual performance against project values, performed a comparative analysis of financial support by federal districts. Conclusions. Consideration of objectives of federal projects and their targets enabled to specify the goals of the national project, i.e. improving the life quality, ensuring the economic development, using advanced technologies. The targets achieved over four years testify to successful implementation of the national project. Budget financing of the project and the level of execution of the federal budget tend to grow.
