Abstract

The article presents a fragment of research results on the implementation of the management function in selected libraries of military universities in Poland regarding the function of motivation. In an organization such as the academic library of a military university, motivating is the third most important management function after planning and organizing. Analysis of information infrastructure factors allowed the assessment of the implementation of individual management functions in the analyzed military libraries, motivating function - very important from the point of view of managing information resources. The purpose of the paper is to evaluate the implementation of the motivating function. The assessment of the implementation of the motivating function results in significant implications that may contribute to the optimization of management of the entire information infrastructure of the modern military university library.
