Abstract

The Chebyshev structure, which is one of the implementation techniques for the McClellan transform, has good efficiency and a good roundoff noise. Its drawback is the increase of the required storage space. A method is presented to reduce the storage needed for the Chebyshev structure, and an efficient systolic cell with minimum storage is obtained. The hardware complexity of each cell is 1/N that of the filters.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>
