Abstract

Drug abuse is one of the most serious problems faced by many countries in the world, including Indonesia. The negative impact of drug abuse on individuals, families and society at large is enormous, so effective action is needed to tackle this problem. One approach that can be used is the implementation of strategic leadership in drug abuse. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of strategic leadership in efforts to tackle drug abuse in Indonesia. The research method used is a literature review of strategic leadership and drug abuse, including official documents, books and journals. The data was then analyzed qualitatively to identify elements of strategic leadership that are relevant in the context of drug abuse. The results of this study show that the implementation of strategic leadership in tackling drug abuse can have a significant impact. Leaders who are able to articulate a strong vision, develop a holistic strategy, engage various stakeholders, as well as build effective collaborations, can influence positive changes in drug-related prevention, rehabilitation and law enforcement efforts.
