Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of soft skills in automotive workshop expertise program majoring in automotive light vehicle engineering of Vocational High Schools in District of West Lombok in terms of tow components which include: (1) the condition of students and learning planning in practicum; (2) how much how much the level of soft skills in automotive engineering practicum of Vocational High School students. This study includes a type of quantitative research with a descriptive approach.The study population was all State Vocational Schools majoring in automotive light vehicle engineering in West Lombok. The research sample consisted of four vocational high schools with 84 students of class XII and four teachers determined using purposive sampling techniques. The results showed that: (1) the condition of students in implementation of soft skills included in the good category with a percentage of achievement of 46.43% and the condition of learning planning included in the good category with a percentage of achievement of 50% ;(2) the results of how much level of soft skills are in the good category with a percentage of achievement of 49%.
