Abstract

Design and development of Light Communication (LC) is implemented using two major blocks one is transmitter and other end is receiver. Transmission of data from the transmitter end to the receiver end. White LED Lamp is used as the light source provides transmission of data with a high speed, low cost and highly efficient wireless indoor communication. The emitted light from white LED (Light Emitting Diode) lamp is detected by photodiode. Communication takes place by modulating the intensity of light. The Received information is displayed on Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) is connected to receiver side of the ARM7 processor. The practical implementation of a proposal is designed and implemented in ARM7 processor. Data is sent serially from the transmitter to receiver using a serial communication USB-UART (Universal serial Bus, Universal Asynchronous tranreceiver) protocol.
