Abstract
The article considers the topical problem of teaching artistic design of clothes at technology classes in high school. Since the teaching of clothing modeling mainly uses classical methods of shaping, which are based on the structural component, the application of textured shaping methods as a new direction of textile design, in which the texture of the fabric becomes an active means of shaping clothes. It is proved that the combination of textural design and modeling methods in the educational process significantly improves the high school students’ perception of three-dimensional aspects of clothing modeling, and teaching students to create a three-dimensional model as a preliminary presentation of future design. This promotes the development of a creative personality and encourages mastering modern methods of design.Educational and methodological aspects of modeling are considered as an important component of teaching artistic design of clothing, where modeling involves the implementation of working models at all stages of design and, along with graphic sketching, becomes a creative method of developing design options. Promising methods of layout in the educational process include paper plastic, in the technique of which we create a design and search paper model for the plastic choice of clothing (origami texture, the characteristic features of which are emphasized and exaggerated stability of materials; modular origami and kirigami are considered to be its varieties). Attention is paid to the three-dimensional modeling of clothing on a mannequin or human figure by modeling and sketching, which serve as a platform for experiments in the formation of the suit, provide an opportunity to directly evaluate the work in the process of development and modeling.Textured shaping is determined by the means of expressiveness of the textile surface and the shape of the product and it is concluded that the study of the possibility of using the method of textured shaping of clothing in technology classes expands the range of training young people, encourages future teachers of technology to further experiments.
