Abstract

This research is classroom action research aim to analyze the implementation of Problem Based Learning by using Students' Worksheet at grade XI IPA.3 SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru. There are five variables studied, namely (1) learning management, (2) learning process, (3) students’ behavior, (4) students’ response, and (5) students’ achievement. The subjects of this study were students grade XI IPA.3 of SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru as many as 33 students. Data were collected through (1) observed the learning management, learning process, and students’ behavior, (2) filled in students’ response questionnaires (likert scale 1,2,3,4), and (3) mathematics achievement test (scale 0-100). Data of learning management, learning process, students’ behavior, and students’ response were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis while data of students’ achievement were analyzed using averages. Based on data analysis obtained information that learning management, learning process, students’ behavior, and students’ response are excellent. The students’ achievement before action are not good; after action increased to be excellent for linear form trigonometric equation material and to be good for squared form trigonometric equation material. It can be concluded that the learning process is very good and students' achievement increase significantly from before action to after action.
