Abstract

The water supply system plays a major role in the urban organization which must ensureanuninterrupted water distribution, a promising control of waterquality and an efficient regulatoryforsystem processingmeasures, and deal with the constraintsenforced by the water resource accessibility, hydrological settings, the water storage space availabilityalong with water resource towers. The entire structure cannot be manually monitored, as it is complex network. The worldwide online observation of the Distribution Network for Water is recognized by the chiefwater resource dispatching operator with the aidof remotesensor control data from the sensors mountedat the valid points of the Water Distribution Network Module. Based on the necessitiesof theWater dispatchsituation, the flow and pressure transducers are erectedatstations for booster or at thecomputingsockets throughout the complete water distribution network. Thus, by appropriate monitoring of possible distribution points water theft can be prevented by giving proper acknowledgment to the operator available centrally. By the use of this water theft detection system, optimum water supply can be ensured to both urban and rural areas avoiding the scarcity problem in the future.
