Abstract

Agile methodologies help in the planning and development of innovative projects, being precisely this type of projects those that are sought to be implemented during the Workshop of Software Projects at UTFSM. The difficulty of applying these development methodologies lies in balancing the values and principles proposed by the agile methods and constraints that arise from an academic environment and it's teaching methodology. When diagnosing the current state of this workshop, we found that agility practices and tools were used along with traditional methods and evaluations, this due to the organizational culture. The present proposal resolves this situation by introducing milestones, tools and objectives that encourage the participation and communication of all participants, promoting in a better way the agile values and principles. This proposal was validated with experts with practical experience in agile methodologies and is currently in execution on 2019.
