Abstract

Purpose: Osteoarthritis (OA) is a chronic and disabling condition affecting morbidity and mortality. Despite its high prevalence and the availability of international management guidelines, nearly half of patients do not receive recommended treatments. OA Management Programs (OAMPs) are an alternative care model to reduce barriers and enhance the receipt of evidence-based care. This study was designed to evaluate the fidelity and feasibility of an OAMP in a United States academic medical center and understand its patients' baseline characteristics.
