Abstract

Source route options are frequently used in DSR (Dynamic Source Routing Protocol), especially in data transmission. It takes all the IP addresses along the path. The space for it increases dramatically, when DSR is implemented in IPv6 network. And that would reduce the efficiency of data transfer. In this paper, we modify the IPv6 header to implement the DSR flow state expansion in IPv6 network; we also modify the flow state mechanism to realize route load balance in flow.
