The study results are (1) the implementation of the SEVIMA educational management information system mechanism using information and communication technology (ICT) devices in all administrative and educational activities. They can be accessed and accepted by all academic service users; (2) The supporting factor in the implementation of SEVIMA IAIN is a reduction in operational costs in managing academic data such as ink, paper, printing, and other equipment; being able to adapt to academic needs; being integrated with one another; and web-based networks, minimal maintenance costs. Making it very more accessible for users to use the educational management information system (SIM Akademik). As for the inhibiting factor in web-based educational information systems in improving academic quality in the FTIK IAIN Lhokseumawe environment, human resources still lack personnel and abilities, facilities, and infrastructure are not optimal.
