Abstract

Ratu Melisa (Radius Satu Meter Lihat Sampah Ambil) is one of the adiwiyata programs at SD Negeri Ciceri which has the purpose of shaping the habits and character of caring for the environment in students. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation, constraints and efforts made in adiwiyata programs Ratu Melisa (Satu Meter Lihat Sampah Ambil) in building the character of caring for the environment in 1st grade at SD Negeri Ciceri. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach, using interview, observation and documentation data collection techniques. The result of the study showed that the implementation of Ratu Melisa programs at SD Negeri Ciceri was carried out by all students starting from 1st grade to 6th grade. The principal and teachers were used as the role model for the students in providing examples. The strategy used to familiarize Ratu Melisa programs for the 1st grader is by directly introducing Ratu Melisa (Radius Satu Meter Lihat Sampah Ambil) through various routine activities. Thus, communication is the key to the success of adiwiyata programs Ratu Melisa at SD Negeri Ciceri.
