Abstract
The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of professionalism Islamic religious education lecturer at the Faculty of Tarbiyah Islamic Institute of Dar Aswaja Rokan Hilir. This professionalism includes the ability of lecturers to develop potential and arouse student interest, have self-confidence, and can provide motivation and inspiration to students to be visionary and innovative. This field research uses a qualitative approach. At the Tarbiyah Faculty of the Islamic Institute of Dar Aswaja Rokan Hilir, various stakeholders were surveyed, interviewed, and documented to collect data. The results show that religious education at the Faculty of Tarbiyah of the Institute of Islamic religion (IAI) Dar Aswaja Rokan Hilir has not achieved satisfactory levels of success.
