Abstract

This article discusses on describe the implementation of integrated quality management of education at MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung with a focus on customer, total involvement, measurement, commitment, and continuous improvement. This study uses the theory of Jerome S. Arcaro. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method through observation, documentation and interviews at MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. Data were analyzed using the following steps: data reduction, display data, and conclusion / verification). The results of this study indicate that: 1) The implementation of quality management on customer focus has gone well, because madrasas not only involve internal parties in every process but also involve external parties. 2) The implementation of quality management in total involvement has gone well with the existence of MGMP, under the guidance of the principal of madrasah, fostered cooperation between teachers and students outside of class hours. 3) Implementation of integrated quality management on measurement has gone well by having an organizational structure that contains controls, and the existence of an evaluation meeting. 4) The implementation of integrated quality management in building and maintaining commitment has gone well with always holding coordination meetings, giving rewards to teachers and trainers as well as students who win competitions. 5) Implementation of quality management in continuous improvement has also gone well with continuous supervision, as well as workshops and trainings.
