Abstract
Con el siguiente artículo se pretende estudiar el tajo final de un yacimiento hipotético polimetálico utilizando el software SimSched DBS, basado en un conjunto de etapas consecutivas como tajo final con tajos anidados, diseño de fases, secuencia operacional período a período, entre otros; esto mediante la modificación y análisis de variables geométricas como son el ángulo del talud, el avance vertical y el fondo del tajo. Además, se estudia la estrecha relación entre la variación del Valor Presente Neto (VPN) y la modificación de las tres variables geométricas consideradas anteriormente.
