Abstract

The paper presents a solution for the neural disorder of renal system failure. This paper describes an implantable therapeutic device based on LC passive resonance for the patients who are suffering from renal system disorder by providing the alternate solution to the renal diseases besides surgery and medication. As Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) is used, the whole circuitry with the passive sensor will work on wireless energy transfer via resonance attached with the circuit which is the process of using low levels of electrical currents to the motor nerves of the sphincter muscle of the urinary bladder to respond to stimuli. In this paper, a working portable FES (using 555 timer IC) system with wireless circuitry is designed and demonstrated as a therapeutic device based on RLC series resonance using passive sensors unit. Further research should improve the circuit by introducing the design of a wearable or implantable bio-antenna with the capability of low to high frequency for very sensitive response and including the printing and the design of passive pressure sensor will add a new dimension of the future research for this project in the field of biomedical technology.
