Abstract

We explore the impact of variable viscosity, activation energy on MHD mixed convective heat and mass transfer flow of nanofluid through a porous medium in a Co-axial cylindrical duct. The non-linear, coupled equations have been solved by using Galerkine finite method with quadratic polynomials. The behaviour of velocity, temperature and nanoconcentration is analyzed at different axial positions. The rate of heat and mass transfer has also been obtained for variations in the governing parameters. From the analysis we find that an increase in Nb and Nt reduces the velocity, increases the temperature and nanoconcentration.
