Abstract

Abstract This systematic review aimed to understand how the titer response to respiratory pathogen vaccination impacts the health and performance of beef and dairy cattle This study utilized five databases with each search reported separately to SearchRXIV. Criteria for study inclusion were: research conducted in the USA or Canada, between 1982 and October 10, 2022, on beef or dairy cattle, using a commercially available vaccine in the US or Canada labeled for a respiratory pathogen of interest, and evaluation of antibody titers, and performance or morbidity. Respiratory pathogens of interest were Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida , Histophilus somni, bovine viral diarrhea virus, bovine herpes virus type 1, parainfluenza 3, bovine respiratory syncytial virus, and bovine coronavirus.
