Impact of the port backup service element on container port system based on system dynamics

Abstract

In order to identify the role of the port backup service elements in the development of the container port, the paper puts forward a system dynamics model between the container port and the port backup service. Firstly, the system dynamics causal relationship path between the container port and the port backup service was established, and the interaction effects of the units in the system were analyzed qualitatively. Then, the empirical analysis based on system dynamics was implemented. Results show that the system dynamics model of the container port and the port backup service is effective; the port backup service elements have positive effects on the development of the container port.
