Abstract
SUMMARYThe ongoing impact on global mental health of the COVID-19 pandemic and the isolation measures used to combat its spread is increasingly acknowledged. This reflection focuses on the effect the pandemic has had specifically on the mental health of women in the peripartum period, using recent case examples from a busy and diverse south London community perinatal psychiatry service.
