Abstract

This review paper examine about impact of the COVID-19 outbreak. The COVID-19 is a global virus. This virus effected whole world economy. Specially we review about Sri Lanka economy. There are some important things we are reported. About GDP, Employment, tourism, poverty, House holdincome .Last two years in Sri Lanka economy significally changed. By natural and human effects. It can be aid that human effects are the easter attack. This virus can be referred to accumulated as a natural effect. But We are going to explore about the impact gap of the virus in this only. Mention the massive decline in the tourism industry in the Sri Lanka. Thus the employment of a diverse population was lost. Not tourism sector but also the manufacturing and services sectors hit hard. This has greatly affected Sri Lanka’s export manufacturing sector. This affected the total national income of Sri Lanka.Not only that But Sri Lankan imports were affected.Thus reducing the average income of an individual. As a result,there was a shortage of goods and services and the prices of goods went up.As a result,the poor, the middle class and the rich were severely affected economically.
