Abstract

A fall is described as a life event in which an individual comes on the ground, floor which is mostly accidental in nature. During ageing, physiological changes set backs many changes such as mitochondrial dysfunction and dropped hormonal production. These physiological events results in gradual decreased bone density, decreased muscle mass and strength in lower limbs. Aims: The intent of this study is to explore the impact of Square Stepping Exercise (SSE) in older adults to enhance balance and mobility to reduce fall risk.
