Abstract
This paper aims to identify the different type of social sites and their impact on UG students of university libraries for dissemination of information to the end users. The paper highlights the role of social networking sites in university libraries with its advantage and disadvantage. “This paper provides a snapshot on the use of social networking among UG students through a holistic review of available literature” (Singh and Mishra 2013)
