Methods: Service learning is considered a high-impact practice. Two seven-point Likert scales (7 strongly agree) were designed to explore attitudes about service learningandperceivedcognitiveandaffectivegains resulting fromparticipation ina community health fair. Dietetics students planned content, researched topics, createdinteractiveboothsandhandouts,andeducatedattendeesat thehealthfair.Supportwas provided by faculty and student assistants. The questionnairewas administered to the dietetics students (N 44) following the service learning activity.
