Abstract

TYPE: Late Breaking Abstract TOPIC: Pulmonary Rehabilitation PURPOSE: To determine the changes produced in the variables under study in Colombian patients post covid-19 who attended a PR program. METHODS: Quasi-experimental study, 91 patients post covid-19 were admitted who completed an 8week comprehensive PR program based on the ATS/ERS guidelines. tolerance to effort and quality of life were evaluated. A paired T test was used and a value of p <0.05 was significant. RESULTS: Patients were admitted with a mean age of 62.5 ± 13.4 years, 56% male. Table 1 describes the results obtained; there were changes (p <0.001) 6-minute walk test, and quality of life. CONCLUSIONS: PR improved important clinical variables that positively impact patients post covid-19. CLINICAL IMPLICATIONS: RP should be considered as a main strategy in the treatment of post-covid-19 patients. DISCLOSURE: No significant relationships.
