Abstract

Purpose: Previous surgery may negatively influence the effect of treatments in patients with knee osteoarthritis (OA). We compared changes in knee pain, quality of life, and walking speed after participation in an 8-week combined patient education and supervised exercise therapy program in men and women with and without previous knee surgery.
