Abstract
The role of 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography/ computed tomography (PET/CT) in treatment of locally advanced breast cancer is not well established. The objective of this study was to assess the diagnostic performance of pretreatment 18F-FDG PET/CT and its impact on radiation therapy treatment decisions in patients with locally advanced breast cancer.
